Marketing Engineering for Excel (MEXL) was developed to operate under Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 environments, but not specifically for Windows 10. MEXL continues to run in many but not all instances of Windows 10.  The alternative, the DecisionPro Enginius software, currently offers all the models and cases available in the academic version of MEXL, plus several new models with associated cases.  Further, as a web offering, DecisionPro Enginius provides the same user experience to Windows, Mac OS and Chromebook users, with no dependency on client-side software.

For users of MEXL who can provide a stable legacy environment, we expect MEXL will continue to run indefinitely.  In newer environments (Windows 10, virtual deployment scenarios, etc.), software support will be offered on a courtesy, best-effort basis.

For those commercial users who depend on MEXL for ongoing data analysis, we suggest preserving the legacy environment so that MEXL can continue to be of use.
